ESTEC 2011 - solar thermal under the spotlight

On 20-21 October 2011, ESTIF (European Solar Thermal Industry Federation) and ENERPLAN (French Trade Association for Solar Energy) with the support of ADEME (French Environment and Energy Management Agency) organised ESTEC 2011, the 5th European Solar Thermal Energy Conference, in Marseilles, France. Michael Bennett, EHI Secretary General, participated in the event.

The conference topics covered key technical issues, policy frameworks, and international market reports with a strong emphasis on emerging markets in southern Europe, northern Africa and the Middle East. For the first time, ESTEC 2011 featured sessions dedicated to installers thus acknowledging their key role in the market.
